Light Truck Plant of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and started to reconstruct the

production line at Xiangfan Plant of the Passenger Vehicle Company.

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. Passenger Vehicle
Company was officially established. Mr. Miao Wei (Board Chairman of Dongfeng
Motor Co., Ltd.) and Katsumi Nakamura (President of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd.)
inaugurated for Passenger Vehicle Company. Mr. Mamoru Yoshida acts as the
managing director, and Mr. Ren Yong serves as Deputy managing director for
Passenger Vehicle Company.
On the same day, its very first car made by Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., under the
name of "Sunny", came off the production line and was launched onto the market.
Celebration ceremony was held in Huadu District of Guangzhou City. |

Inauguration of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. was held in Wuhan and Guangzhou
imultaneously. Government officials of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou
City including You Ningfeng (vice governor of Guangdong), and Zhang
Guangning (Mayor of Guangzhou), attended to deliver their congratulatory
remarks.

Aeolus Automobile Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2000. After having operated
for more than 3 years, it has launched 4 new car models. Currently on an annual
basis, the company produces and sells 65,000 cars, from over only 3,000-plus
cars at the beginning of its business operation; and registers a sales income
of RMB 11.5 billion, from over RMB 458 million posted in March 2000.
Moreover, its registered capital has climbed up to RMB 6.05 billion up
from only RMB 130 million in March 2000; whilst the amount of its net
assets has reached RMB 4.55 billion. As a result, Aeolus has been honored
as a "creator of miraculous operating results" in the industry. Following the
success of "Aeolus", Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. Passenger Vehicle Company was set
up on 16 June 2003, which marked the start of a new era in history.
