1. Attentions for Assembly
1.1 The first piece of spring leaf withside bend>1.5mm/m and other spring leaves with sidebend>3mm/m shall be picked out.
1.2 Check the degree of symmetry of the rivet hole and clip hole on the spring leaf punched with rivet hole to see whether it is in accordance with standard.
1.3 Check whether the clip touches the side surface of spring leaf after general assembly, if it does, correct the location of clip. 2. Maintenance and Overhauling
2.1 In every turn of maintenance for the vehicles (every 4000km), fasten the U-shaped bolt on the steel plate spring.
2.2 Inject lubricating grease into the lubricating hole of the spring pin frequently.
2.3 Replace spring leaves with poor elasticity in maintenance.
3. Attentions for On loading of Plate Spring
3.1 While on loading the plate spring, level the side surface of every plate spring before fastening the U-shaped bolt, so as to avoid the touch between the clip and the side surface of the plate spring.
3.2 After assembling the plate springs, inject lubricating grease into the lubricating hole of the spring pin.

The steel plate

1. The damping leaf dropped out.
2.The clearance between pins, bushings and lifting eyes lack lubricating oil.

1. Mount the damping leaf.
2. Inject more lubricating oil.

The steel plate spring breaks

1. The steel plate spring is overloaded or deviated from its position for a long time;
2. Emergency braking is too frequently operated, or the speed of vehicle is too high on rough road surface;
3. The damper fails to work for a long-time service;
4. The U-shaped bolts, screws and nuts become loose, which causes the breakage around the central hole;
5. The buffer block drops out.

1. Load the steel plate spring according to regulations, so as to ensure that the load is reasonably distributed;
2. Avoid emergency braking, and lower down vehicle speed on poor road conditions;
3. Replace the damper;
4. Fasten the bolts, screws and nuts involved so that specified torque could be reached..
5. Re-amount the missing buffer block.

The entire car declines

1. The dead loads on the steel plate spring are out of accord in sagitta.
2. The car body is inclined or distorted

1. Displace the steel plate spring
2. Repair the car chassis and car body.

The damper suffers oil leakage or fails to work

1.The oil-seal cover looses;
2. The damping fluid fells into shortage;
3. The damper does not work.
1. Secure the cover of the damper.
2. Replenish the damping fluid according to requirement;
3. Check the damper in specified way, and displace the assembly.
 
 

 

1. The steel plate spring with variable cross section under 30,000km on-road running or within 4 months’ service and the steel plate spring with uniform cross section under 50,000km on-road running or within 6 months’ service suffering to the damages below due to poor quality of manufacture will be maintained as shown in quality warranty plan.
A. The steel plate spring breaks (breakage inside the saddle bolt is excluded). 
B. The steel plate spring deforms under normal use condition.
2. Damages listed below will not be embraced into the quality warranty plan 
A. The steel plate spring breaks from inside the saddle bolt. 
B. The steel plate spring deforms as a result of excessive overloading. 
C. Quality problems such as the inclination of the entire car, the fairly big rigidity and the breakage of the steel plate spring caused by putting additional spring leaves or displacing single thickened spring leaf without the approval of designated service stations.
D. The normal abrasion between the pin and bushing of the steel plate spring.
E. The breakage and deformation of the steel plate spring caused by the damage to the damper.
