In 2000, the company, according to the requirements of QS – 9000:1998 standard,
established the documented quality management system covering automobile steel
sheet spring assembly and single. A documented framework comprising four tiers,
namely, quality handbook, quality system procedure, operation documents, and
quality records. Furthermore, on 28th December 2000, the company formally
passed quality system certification by the national third-party institution. It
also passed the assessment of the said institution in August 2001 and August
2002 respectively and was authorized to hold the qualification of QS –
9000:1998 third-party quality system certificate.
In implementing QS – 9000 standard, the company positively initiates internal
quality system auditing. Through a combination of rolling and centralized
auditing, the company continues to improve its quality management. Furthermore,
the company conducts second-party quality system certification to raw material
suppliers and coordinated parts/components suppliers in order to help improve
the quality management level of these suppliers.
The company is committed to continuous improvement, utilizing the in-depth
implementation of this standard as a theme. It strives to consummate its
corporate quality operation system, thus realizing its promise of 'Dongfeng
